The promenade is 300 metres from the Hotel and can be reached by a 5-minute walk through the pine forest. Once again this year, the Municipality of Cecina was awarded the prestigious Blue Flag for the beaches of Marina di Cecina and Gorette.

The pine forest
The Tomboli di Cecina Nature Reserve

Just 20 metres from our hotel is one of the longest and most beautiful pine forests in Italy. A green lung overlooking the beach where you can regenerate amidst the scents of the Mediterranean maquis and the song of the cicadas, play sports and take long walks in the cool of the summer heat.

The thick pine forest stretches for 15 km as far as Marina di Castagneto.

Of particular interest among the villages in the immediate vicinity is Bolgheri.

A charming village made immortal by the verses of Giosuè Carducci in his poem Davanti a San Guido: The cypresses that in Bolgheri, tall and straight, go from San Guido in double rows.

This ancient village, built around a mediaeval castle, exudes a lingering charm and its territory is known for the absolute excellence of its wine production.

Florence, Pisa, Siena, Lucca, Volterra and San Gimignano are within easy reach.

For families, there is the inflatable playground Bimbolandia, and a few kilometres away the Acqua Park, as well as: the Gallorose Zoo, the Cavallino Matto amusement park, the Livorno Aquarium, the 'Giardino Sospeso' Adventure Park and the riding school.
